The Australian Film TV and Radio School conducts professional Radio training on a national basis in the form of practical courses, workshops and seminars. The courses are flexible and cover both the theory and practice of broadcasting. Training programs use a range of experienced radio professionals from all sectors of the industry, in addition to staff of the Radio Branch.
The Branch's Graduate Diploma in Commercial Radio Broadcasting is conducted at AFTRS' facility at North Ryde in Sydney, and its Graduate Certificate in Commercial Radio Programming is conducted by distance education. A Graduate Diploma in Radio Broadcasting - Flexible Delivery is now available.
